Is there an official Skyrim for Android?
No. Bethesda has not released Skyrim for Android phones. Its own mobile Elder Scrolls games are The Elder Scrolls: Blades and The Elder Scrolls: Castles, both on Google Play, and neither of them is Skyrim.
The three ways people play Skyrim on a phone
- Cloud streaming: the PC version runs on a server and is streamed, so you need a fast connection every second you play.
- Winlator or ExaGear: the Windows version runs through a translation layer, which needs a strong phone and a long setup.
- A native port: the game is rebuilt to run on the phone itself. That is what Skyrim Mobile on Zodita is.
What the «Skyrim Mobile APK» sites are
Sites offering «Skyrim mobile mod APK», «Skyrim Android OBB» or «Skyrim 2025 APK» serve repackaged unrelated games, ad-loaders or malware; none of them is Skyrim. A loose file like that is never verified and never updated. Skip them.
How Zodita's Skyrim Mobile works
Skyrim Mobile is an unofficial community port of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, rebuilt to run natively on Android with touch controls on screen. The game data is about 1.7 GB and is delivered in pieces by the Zodita app, which verifies each piece, installs the game as its own app and later updates only what changed. The only APK you download from Zodita is the Zodita app itself.
The free demo covers the opening: the cart ride, the execution at Helgen, the dragon attack and the escape through the keep, then the road through the pines to the gates of Whiterun. It plays offline once installed. It is an early build, so expect rough edges.

The full game is on pre-order for $11.99, shown at -40% from $19.98; the 40% discount runs until 30 November 2026. You pay now at the pre-order price, the full game unlocks in your library 2 days before the public release, and until then you play the free demo. No release date is set: later stages will be announced on the Zodita roadmap and news page.
What your phone needs
Android 8 or newer, a 64-bit chip, 4 GB of memory and about 2 GB of free storage. Mid-range phones run the demo at a lower quality tier chosen automatically; recent flagships run the higher tiers. A Bluetooth controller is optional.

- Create a free Zodita account on zodita.com.
- Install the Zodita app for Android from zodita.com/app. Android asks once to allow installs from this source.
- Sign in, open the Skyrim Mobile demo in your library, tap Install and let the download finish. The game installs as its own app.
- Play from Helgen to Whiterun. To get the full game when it unlocks, pre-order it on the Skyrim Mobile game page.
