Zodita app 1.6.0: look around first, download without surprises
The new Android app lets you browse the store without an account, checks size, connection and free space before big downloads, and finds games installed outside Zodita.
Zodita app 1.6.0 is out for Android. This release is about your first minutes with the app: looking around, installing a game, and getting to play without surprises.
Browse without an account
You can now open the app and browse the store without signing in. An account is only needed when you want to add a game to your library.
Fewer surprises when you download
- The install permission is asked for before a download starts, not after it ends
- Before a big download, the app shows the size and whether you are on Wi-Fi or mobile data
- It also checks that your phone has enough free space first
Size, connection and free space are checked before a big download begins.
Ready to play
When a game is installed, a new “Ready to play” screen takes you straight to it.
Games installed outside Zodita
If a game was installed some other way, the app now detects it and lets you reinstall it from Zodita.
