Skyrim Mobile is our port of Skyrim to Android phones, and its demo is still early. Versions 2.4.4 and 2.4.5 focus on the opening of the game: the cart ride, the loading screens, and everything up to the moment you decide who your character is.
2.4.4: the cart ride and loading
The game opens on a prisoner cart, with your hands tied. The demo now follows the game’s own control lock: on the cart ride the fists no longer come up, and the combat and movement buttons stay hidden until the game hands control back to you.
Loading was the bigger job. The game now loads on a separate thread and spreads the work of building the world over several frames, instead of freezing the screen until everything is ready. On PC, where we measure it, the longest pause went from about 14 seconds to about 0.7 seconds.

The loading screen is no longer a still picture either. The image and the model change while the game loads, and a finger swipe turns the model smoothly.

2.4.5: the second part of Helgen
2.4.5 carries the story on into the second part of Helgen and fixes what stood in the way there:
- The second part of Helgen is now in the demo
- The cart exit works
- Character creation (the race menu) now shows clothing and skin tints
- Voices are kept
- A block on the road was fixed
- The Android keyboard no longer pushes the screen up

Still an early demo
This is an early demo of our mobile port, not a finished game. It is free to add from its Zodita page and installs through the Zodita app.
