The original Castlevania is free on iOS and Android until October 24
Konami's 40th-anniversary gift: the NES classic with touch controls, yours to keep if you grab it in time.
For Castlevania's 40th anniversary, Konami has put the original NES game on iOS and Android for free until October 24, 2026.
It is a direct port of the 1986 game with virtual touch controls, playable offline. Download it during the window and it stays in your library after the offer ends.
A sale of up to 80 percent on the series runs alongside it, from the NES originals to Symphony of the Night and the Lords of Shadow games. The new Castlevania: Belmont's Curse arrives October 15.
