Valve's Steam Next Fest runs from October 19 to October 26, 2026, opening at 10am Pacific time each day.

Next Fest is a free event: developers put up playable demos of games that are not out yet, and anyone with a Steam account can download and try them for the week. The June 2026 edition had 4,382 demos, 66 percent more than a year earlier.

Demos that stand out during the fest will show up in our news, and the live Steam chart on our World games page shows what people are actually playing.
