Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4 remakes come to Switch 2 on October 16

Capcom brings three remakes to Nintendo's new console just before Halloween. Boxed copies follow in January.

Capcom is releasing Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16, 2026, as downloads from the Nintendo eShop.

The Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition includes the Separate Ways story with Ada Wong. Physical editions arrive on January 29, 2027.

Resident Evil on handhelds is something we care about too: the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 are on Zodita's coming-soon list for Android phones.
