ARC Raiders' biggest update, Frozen Trail, lands today, and the game is free to try until October 12

Embark Studios calls Frozen Trail its biggest release since ARC Raiders launched a year ago. It arrives today, October 8.
The update adds a snowy settlement beneath the mountains at the edge of the Rust Belt, with more verticality and threats above and below ground; the Outpost, a space Raiders decorate and research from; new ARC enemies from small to enormous; a high-level ARC Operation; new weapons, gadgets and instruments; and a reworked skill tree.
To go with it, the game is free to play on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation from October 8 at 9:00 UTC until October 12 at 8:00 UTC.
