Prototype on October 20, Fallout 4 on October 28: next on Zodita
Two big open worlds are next on the Zodita roadmap: Prototype is planned for October 20 and Fallout 4 for October 28. What we know, and what we will announce on the day.
After Max Payne, two open-world games are next on Zodita. Prototype is planned for Tuesday, October 20, and Fallout 4 for Wednesday, October 28, both at 18:00 UTC. The countdowns are on the Zodita home page.
Prototype: Manhattan under quarantine
Prototype (Radical Entertainment, 2009) starts with Alex Mercer waking up on an autopsy table with no memory, while a virus spreads through Manhattan and the military seals the island. He can shapeshift, absorb people and run up the side of a skyscraper. It is a game about movement and chaos in a whole city, which makes it a hard and interesting port for a phone.
Prototype never came to phones officially. When the first Zodita build arrives, we will post here exactly what it contains, its size and the phones it needs.

Fallout 4: out of Vault 111
Fallout 4 (Bethesda Game Studios, 2015) begins on October 23, 2077, with the sirens and the run to Vault 111, and continues two centuries later in the ruins of Boston. It is the largest world we have put on the roadmap, with settlement building, a deep weapon workshop and a huge map.
Bethesda's own Fallout apps for phones are Fallout Shelter and, back in 2015, the Pip-Boy companion app, which shows your stats but does not run the game. Tech sites have shown the PC version running through Windows emulators on high-end tablets at around 30 frames per second, with a lot of setup. Zodita's route is a native port that runs on the phone itself, with touch controls.
Because the world is so big, Fallout 4 arrives on Zodita in stages. The first build starts at the beginning of the game; later builds open more of the map. We will publish what the first build contains, its size and the minimum phone on October 28.

Dates are plans
Both dates are our plan, not a promise. If one moves, the home page countdown and this page change first, and we will say why. We aim at ordinary mid-range Android phones, but open-world games need more memory than our smaller ports, so check the minimum on each game page before you install.
How to be ready
- Create a free Zodita account
- Install the Zodita app for Android
- Add Prototype and Fallout 4 to your library from their pages, and you get the build as soon as it is out
Before them comes The Witcher 3 demo (planned for October 24, it arrived on October 21), and pre-orders for the full versions of the current games open on October 20 at 17:00 UTC.
Zodita's ports are unofficial community projects. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by the original publishers, and all trademarks belong to their owners.
