PichBaz, Zodita's first original game, is live: a 3D screw puzzle in 80 MB
Next to the big PC ports, Zodita now has a game of its own. PichBaz is a one-finger 3D puzzle where you take objects apart screw by screw. Early access, free, fully offline.
PichBaz is the first game made by Zodita itself rather than rebuilt from a PC original. It is public now in early access, free, and small: about 80 MB. The idea fits in one sentence. Every level is a 3D object held together by screws, and you unscrew it, piece by piece, until it falls apart in the right order.
What is in the early access build
- 60 levels, from an ice-cream bar to a submarine and a trophy; every fifth level is a hard one
- A collection: models you finish stay in your collection, ready to look at again
- Helpers for tight levels: a hammer, an X-ray view and an extra slot, paid with coins from play and a daily reward
- One-finger touch play, fully offline, no account needed inside the game
Why a puzzle game on a PC-ports platform
Two reasons. First, it is ours: no original to be faithful to, no publisher to be unofficial about. Second, it tests the same Zodita pipeline that ships the big ports: the store, the library, delta updates and per-device licences. A small game is the fastest way to find out what breaks on which phone.
The name comes from Persian: pich means screw, and baz is the player. The game itself is in English, like every game on Zodita.
What happens next
Early access means the level order, the economy of coins and helpers, and the difficulty curve are still being tuned from how people actually play. More levels come as updates through the Zodita app, downloading only what changed. If a level is unsolvable or too easy, tell us: the level number is enough.
PichBaz is free. Create a free account on zodita.com, install the Zodita app, and add it to your library next to the demos of Skyrim Mobile, Half-Life 2 Mobile and the others.
